A parapet wall is shown above and it must be 2ā high for unoccupied roofs (roofs without common/public access), or at least 42ā high for occupied roofs (roofs where the public can come up and mingle or enjoy the roof). An architectural/structural roof plan of this living roof is similar to a coded plan, where you look at the roof from the top down, and label the elements and heights of the parapets accordingly. Example:
Design your own living roof with a parapet. Create a rough sketch of a roof plan and an isometric view similar to the example above. (It can be hand-drawn without a grid. It is a very rough, quick sketch, like a napkin sketch, as if it was drawn on a napkin for a colleague).
