Objective: In this lab, you will create an assembly and exploded view. You are given the part files, so all you need to do is download them from Canvas, then follow these instructions. You will also have to answer some questions within the word document you turn in for this lab, so read carefully and be sure to include them.

Problem 1: Mechanism

Part A: Create the Mechanism Assembly

1. Download part files for the Mechanism (4 part files total)
2. Start a new assembly in SolidWorks.
3. Insert the base.
4. Insert the cam (middle component shown in blue) and use concentric and coincident mates to place it in the base.
